We had such a fun day yesterday exploring Taveuni! It's Fiji's Garden Island and it's beautiful! We visited a church, a town, the international dateline, hiked to a waterfall, boated to 3 more, and swam in one. The tour finished with a slide down a natural waterslide, led by some local children. What a difference the sun makes! We've been back in Fiji for 5 days, and 2 of them have been sunny. We're trying to take advantage of the better weather, so today we took a short hike. Fiji is truly the land of plenty! Fresh fruit and vegetables of all kinds are available at the farmers' markets! We went to the big one in Labasa and the one right here in Savusavu. Land Ho! There’s something special about seeing land after a few days at sea, especially when it’s your port. We arrived in Fiji!
